i had no clue what happened it just appeared

Just do a screen print (hit the screen print key, should be next to the F12 key) and open up an art program - I use Adobe Photoshop.

Open a new document and then hit paste. It should paste a picture of the whole screen into your document, then just crop it down to the size of the game window.

The idea is just simple cut and paste idea, the screen print saves onto the clipboard same as any other copy or cut.
