ryu IS stronger ken is faster still think ryu is better probably cos my m8 always goes ken and i always kick his ass

Yeah, Ryu is stronger, and can knock down an opponont with one hit of his Hurricain Kick, and Ken is faster, and his moves double up as a combo, like his Hurricain Kick hits multiple times, as well as his Flaming Uppercut, which is also (duh) on fire! At first their moves almost looked all the same, but I *think* that, starting with Super Street Fighter II, Ken's normal attack moves (One buttons moves) started to look diffrent then Ryu's, but basically, there core moves are the same (meaning, I'm not talking about supers).

Warmor You are right about that but the naked truth is that Ryu is the best all though, Ken is good in dojo skill's then ryu. So i say both are good but Ryu is better much better then ken;)

Okay I am tired with the topic so these are my last words. You can not compare them.

i have to agree with selv on this one.. and Irvine, stop using that avatar! poor selv tried for a week to get that for himself! (yeah i know i stole your akuma avatar, but i'm still waiting for mine as well) :)

i think it all comes down to personal preference.

hmmmmm...lets see ryu and ken
ryu has the (bare with me) super fireball and the super hurricane kick.

ken has the (once again bare with me) super 3 firey uppercutts and has that super tunnel of fire uppercutt(any of you that have played the arcade version when you look at the beginning of the game know what im talking about.)

But i personally think that akuma is both of them mixed together for some reason because he has ryu's super fireball ken's super 3 firey uppercutts ( except they look like lighting uppercutts) ryu's hurricane kicks and he has one of his own moves where he throws diagonal fireballs at you from up in the air (i love that move)

Well of course Akuma's better than both of them! (and even gay evil ryu).

Akuma is good but ken would still smoke his ass any day

Sorry, but this is something that anyone can agree with. Do Ken's Shoryuu Reppa and do Akuma's Messatsu Gou Shoryuu and you will see Akuma's super totally knock Ken's out of his.
