On SFO u have 2 unlock characters,

u wouldn't have something to look forward to if they already gave u hidden characters. It'd just be another game

i liked how it used to be in xvssf when you could just use any old person you wanted....mabey you should only have to unlock the new character

What do you mean by "fair"? Is there a type disability that doesn't allow you to get 40 wins to have all the characters available to you?
It's simply skill building... Getting enough wins to earn a character you want to be able to select. It's basicly a step in helping you to become a better player. Theres nothing "Not fair" about this... |

In DOR, I don't recall unlocking any characters... I don't recall having to "unlock" any characters period... Or maybe vip memebrs don't have to do this?
