Viper2040_has officially had it. Im a (suprisingly) well known, 4 year veteran of this game, and I have seen many bitchy posts in the past, but this is different. Im actually pissed.
As a 4 year veteran, Im supposed to be good at this game. I dont play it often, but old skool gamer skilz dont die easily. So when a noob invites me to a game, and i feel generous and join, I am naturally pissed off when i end up dead in 10 seconds because he abused some of the weaknesses of the game. Ive noticed that a lot of people like to host games and set the level to 2 and pick a dark shoto, and start off with a quick raging demon. THAT IS NOT COOL. IT DOES NOT MAKE YOU GOOD. Im sure many will argue that Its my fault for not being able to stop it, but lets analyze the raging demon real quick. The raging demon is a special move in many ways. It does massive damage, and unless stopped, is unblockable. It also ALWAYS does damage, even with lag. If its executed, the damage WILL go through. Still, this wouldnt be too bad, given how much super energy it takes, except for one thing: it is near impossible to stop with lag. In addition, its glitchy, and only supers, projectiles, or helpers can stop it. This means that wolverine in a no-helper game is essentially screwed unless he wants to waste a super bar to prevent an instant death. Yeah, thats right, raging demon pretty much instant-kills wolvie, given his low defense against supers. One of the most glaring examples of how incredibly cheap this move can be when abused, came in a 2v2 tag match. My partner decided to tag me as RD was being initiated. Naturally, I came in, got nailed, and was out of the match. Or, the time that someone started a raging demon while i was in the middle of slashing him with wolverine. The attacks did NOTHING, and my helper was way too slow to help. Now, I obviously have a deep respect for tmyapp and the work that he does, and I think that the raging demon was a great idea. However, some noobs have managed to once again take a great feature and abuse it so that I cannot even bear to use a dark character anymore. I am thoroughly disgusted with how low some people will stoop to get a few kills. Picking akuma and guile while setting the level to 2 only means that you will earn my scorn and disrespect. Im really sorry to burst the bubble of all the ~@!####s out there, but you all arent good. You just have no respect for the game or for sportsmanship. I personally think the raging demon is a useless move, you can stop it very easily, except when you have wolvie ofcourse. I other words I agree with you.(I hate shoto chars)

People who "fight in that manner" are usually considered desperate(in my personal opinion). They eithe want rage, or braggin rights. "Oh! I beat ___. He sucked so much", and so on.
To those people, i say this. No matter how desperate you are, you will be stopped. Whether you're a rank hunter, Rage Factor Hunter, VIP killer, Norm killer or even "new fighter" killer (since i can't say ####). There will ALWAYS be someone to beat the crap out of you just to show you up. Until then, enjoy you pathetic fun. |
Well thats your opionion is don't really matter much, Many people have different fighting style and its up to you to try to counter it.
Many characters have there weakness and Raging demon is a cheap move but it can be stoped. Mostly when people see "wolive" user they pick akuma or ken because they know "wolive" can't beat them easy with a good fight. Sfo has changed over the years with the new updates so i guess you need to update your fighting style. As they say "out with the old and in with the new" |
I dont accept that. Raging demon doesnt drastically change the game, until you add in lag and its glitches. It is a glitchy move. Its SUPPOSED to be stoppable by normal attacks. But normal attacks dont work. Helpers? many are too slow to get out there. Essentially, it has very few weaknesses.

To be honest I don't really have a problem with regular RD users usually, unless they magically teleport behind me and perform it. But I guess thats lag and I can't really blame my opponent for it.
By the way did you say wolverine has a weak super defence? How fair is that, I mean he has no projectiles, his only semi projectile move actually reduces your super bar and now he's dying because of one super. Why is wolverine like this anyway? I thought the supers hitting him hard was a bug. |
I dont Become Cheap Unless someone Forces me too.... It gets me mad when I challenge someone.. they rank hunt me or they just dont want to lose rank... use V.I.P. Akuma to stop me.... I cant be stoped and thats why they do that......
Seriously now.... How can you cheat like that....Akuma ####s and Sent ####s... Its just getting me mad :sneaky2: And with Akuma... THey do that all the time.... the Attack from the air... and the RD from the Bottom.... what really pisses me are the new people who use sentinal and repeatedly use his blast, and the thing with rageing demon, i have to agree, it is a completely cheap match combined with lag, i own SFA3 and rageing demon doesnt bother me all that in the game, much but i hate rank hunters and such, anyway, i think they should tweak rageing demon to do less damage

raging demon is only a stupidity, what made it a good move in the normal games was that it was stopable and was hard to place... which in this game it is unstoapable and is just as muich easy to place !
its the same thing with VARIABLE attack... right in the start helper, variable and super to death... instant kill just because the #### putted it at 3 supers and helpers on... how fair is the game if you consider 2 on 1 or 2 on 2... the only way to be alrght is to play 1 on 1 only... i wouldn't go agianst viper on this mater there is too much strong moves in here ! |
