You can not pick ALL the characters...nor can you unlock them.

But if you wanna know wich characters you can choose, and their moves then...

And there is only one "secret" character in this game..and that is Onslaught.

wolverine: this game is like a demo but the charaters are not made there are evilryu and symbiote spider-man but there for vips only
