well i jus downloaded shockwave player 10 and i opened the download version, an error pops up saying their r files missing for your shockwave player would u like to retrieve them, i press yes bla bla bla thats no help, so i try the web version and that works perfectly. Anyone having the same problem???
is thier another file im supposed to download??? any help will be appreciated.

Yea, don't use 10, use the previous one.

can u tell me where to downlaod the previous one bcz on the macromedia site it dont have past players to download just the latest one

I have version 10 of shockwave, and it works fine when using the downladable version for me.

why the hell isnt it working for me, i think im gonna have to redownload evrything over again..... :shocked:

Make sure [b:post_uid14][u:post_uid14]ALL[/b:post_uid14][/u:post_uid14] of the files are in the same folder.

even though Shockwave shall installed by itself when u play SFO! but, if it doesnt and you're still having problems,downloading it again shall solve the problems with Shockwave Errors

no offence but u guys r not even helping, first of all *putting my files in the same directory" lol i think i managed to learn that long ago, secondly bob why have u given me the download site for shockwave ???, dont u think i went to that site to download it in the first place???..... oh well looks like im stuck wid the laggy web version

It's the same thing with me. It gives me the error message. If you look in the Macromedia Shockwave Log file, you see that there is some sort of .CHX or something like that file missing.(Atleast in my log file) What I did was, I found the OLD shockwave installer on one of my folders, and I installed the old shockwave(8). I have no idea where to find the old shockwave though.
