It tell you all if you don't know what WT means it weekly tournment

The rulez if ya don't know

-Every week the tournment is on (start Friday at 10PM eastern ends on Sunday 12:00AM est) Register start Monday ends Thursday
-You can't pick akuma, evilryu (no vip nor rage factor)
-If an oppenent beat u, ur still in. (all it matter is how many wins u get)
-Take Screenshot for prove (in case someone try to lie, keep happening i will see the match)
-Only 1 match (don't have a rematch if they say so)
-No cheating you be DQ
-No best out of 3 (people always ask me that)
-If oppenent decline take a screenshot to show me that he/she decline
-Do NOT i repeat Do NOT lie about your victory.
-If you wish to be out of the tourment please contact me so i can remove your name.

I dont think you can, no single member can revive it unless you were directly involved with it in the beggining, i think tarkan made the wt, it failed so he gave kks permission to carry it on, than i think he was to busy so nferno hosted it for him, unless you got permission from these ppl its a no go.

Although i would definately welcome the return of wt's in the forum.

RyusRevenge i think u have ur facts messed up, some guy name Profe$sor (i believe that was his name) came up wit the idea not tarkan.

And yea, i dont mind it coming back, but hopefully if it does...it will be more harder, not that crap when u win 4 times and u automatically win (back in da day 11-14 wins gave u a chance to tie/come in 1st, no one knew who won until the last 5 mins of the tourney, but it must mostly da vipa, tidus2k2, digital fighter, and sometimes if we were lucky, me and res2)

but i dont think u can revive it by yourself, its just like that toc (or bfa, or someother huge tournament) thing that sbyrd5 tryed to do, but he wasnt the orgianl hoster of the tournament.

it should return ,it was one of the best tourment hosting in sfo

WT isn't coming back, not in the near future, but I guess you want to know why.

The WT's main objective was to get players more interested in fighting, we would post a topic and a certain amount of people would post that they wanted to fight and there were a lot of them that did (when the WT got popular), problem was, a fraction of them actually fought, so there were many no shows. I remember countless 0's for the WT. You had 2-3 days to fight, yet you didn't fight... that doesn't make any sense. If you are going to register, but not fight, what is the point of registering? If you tell ahead of time that you won't be fighting, then that is much better than not fighting at all.

People "now" say that they want the WT to be revived, but once it's revived, it'll have the same effects; many registrants, many no shows. The person hosting it will get irritated and leave or give up. So NO WT! It's not coming back, let it die and join the other WWT tournaments that are coming up, you'll fight more people and have more competition.

WTT is the same as WT yea many people register at the WTT but they don't show up. So it's same thing. Watch that WTT will die to since i'm seeing people not showing up. but then again i don't have to call it WT. I can call it something just change it a little to make it a hit. but i'm going to need someone. Going to find someone :biggrin: topic is now official CLOSED :biggrin:
