I don't know how to help you but I was talking to NinjaScroll the other day.
He just came back to the game after years of absense and has the exact same problem, he also has dsl. I don't think dsl is sfo-friendly. Edited By haolys on 1116186872 |
DSL is not to blame...it depends on your connection settings...

So how exactly do you alter these settings so it allows it to connect sfo? I turned off firewall, tried checking every possible combination in the options. Tried different ports, and still keeps saying "check you ip/port settings" after someone acepts my chalenge or i accept. Really dont know what to do... |
Fixed the problem, called my ISP they alowed or forwarde or somethin i dont know what port 1626 and provided me with ip. Now I can join games and be chalenged, thanks for trying you guys :baaa:

if your running a XP go to start>control panel>network and internet connections>network connection. you will see LAN or High Speed Internet. Below it you will see two computer connecting, right click it and click properties. Go to advanced and make sure there no check mark on "protect my computer network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the internet" it's call a Internet Connection Firewall
