Some of you may know aboiut this tournament, and the others not, well let me explain. Its a division tournament that has divisions for characters in the game...in the last Grand Prix Users Tournament (GPUT3) the winners prizes were a wallpaper made by Virtual Fighter, a vip sponsher ship, and a banner. If i remember right the winners were:

Chun-li divison: Hot sexy chick
WOlverine division: Pip99 (hence his banner)
Ryu division:Da Vipa
Spider-Man: King_of_ken
Akuma divison: Restavega
Ken division: DUze (hence his banner)
Sentinal divison: Chicken Wing

Lately ive been getting messages from former GPUT particpants asking me when i was going to host GPUT4, and by my suprise i didnt relize that the sfo community still remebered it and wanted another additition to the series. So im here today to prepare.

New characters have been added to the game and I dont know what characters the folks of the community want to use in their division. So im here to ask you all to vote for the characters u want to use. Also if you have any ideas that you would like to see done in GPUT4 post it and we will see what happens.

The fourth addition to the GPUT series has begun its prepartions...i cant promise that the winners will be getting prizes but its the the gaming spirit that counts in a gamer.

I would suggest you allow two VIP/rage characters. Maybe ERyu and Shadow Lady. Perhaps Symbiotic Spider-Man, but a lot of ppl hate Spider-Man.

Also, if you do allow VIP characters, and you allow regular users to user them if they have the necessary rage points you're going to have to make specific rules. Like, for regular users who sign up for a VIP division who plan on using rage points to fight with, obviously. You need to make it a rule that THEY MUST "transform" into the appropriate VIP/rage character in order to fight, immediatly

Example. At the beginning of the match in an ERyu division match, the first player is Ryu, and the other is a VIP character, making him ERyu. The first player MUST transform into ERyu immediatly. If not, say he doesn't have any rage points when he thought he did, or he's just a stupid nubert who doesn't know how, the first player is DQ'd

In order to defend my title, I'm going to have to push for the Akuma division. Of course, all these matches should be without perks. Straight up, nonVIP, tournament server, no helpers. I feel you get the most authentic fights out of those settings.

All the characters should be used. Although it would spread the numbers very low in each division, we have to respect each character and each individual who wants to find out if they're the best with that particular fighter.

And a twist in the end... you should make all the division winners clash with one another. The best Spidey user against the best Akuma user, etc. until you have the last two winners of the GPUT 4 going at it for a finale. Kind've like a tournament among the champs.

anyways dg you should host like 2 versions of the tournament....like vip section and normal section

That would make the division winners less signifigant. One division, all non VIP. Have the fighters in their original forms.

Uhhh.... howbout if you get enough ppl for the next gput have helpers and blah blah blah...

Hmmm, Ive listen to all of your thoughts and I think I know what I will do. The sign ups will start either next week, or in 2 weeks...cuz ive been busy latley and dunno where and when i can get the free time.

can we have a Cyclops divison? please!!!!!!!
