yet again another post about the "player has already been challanged" topic.

well i did a little testing in chat room.today and i beleive i have figured out what is happening here...some of you may already know this

Now everybody has been in the chat room and seen those players that just sit there and complain that no one is challanging them..Soooo you challange them and *poof* "this player has already been challanged to another match"...so you wait a few minutes and challenge him again....and you get the same message...and the whole time the players is asking for a match.so whats going on here?

it's lag and peoples impatience and also how the games inteface operates.

...the end and short of it all is....if you just wanna "chat" in the chat room and you dont want to have tons of people asking you for a fight...heres what you do....the first request that some one sends you,,,just let it sit there...DONT deny the request...YET!...wait a while for the challenger to ask some one else or leave the room...THEN cancel their request.....from this point on when ever ANY body challenges you they will receive the "this player has all ready been challanged" screen....and that is how you can sit in the chat and "chat" with out getting challanges over and over again. :biggrin:....the only way to end this effect is to leave the chat room wait a few seconds and then return to the chat....

no TMy,very few people do use the "hidden" features of the chat...you'll need to repost them or tell us where they are located,,for us all to veiw....if you do this i will definately add that information to my webpage :biggrin:

did you know that in the last month and a half...that the forum has taken on around 1200 new players..thats a whole lot of "unlearned" people that dont know alot about the game and,how it operates..and what kinda catchs there are to it...(i'm one of those people,but im learning fast)...and thats why i started a website about the game...to try and share all this "hidden" knowledge......and thank you soooo much for the webhost man!:biggrin: (i just cant say it enough)

I would use DND if someone told me what it meant.

DnD= Do Not Disturb...

you enter :/dnd into the chat text field and press enter....i am pretty sure thats how its entered..there are some other things that you can enter into the text field both in the chat and in the match chat as well.to change aspects of the game.

Thanks for telling me.

TMApp: i probably should have added,that the way the "prompt" screens operate has something to do with this "challanging" problem....i challange player "A" im on the awaiting response screen...player "X" challenges me...replacing my "awaiting response" screen with the "would you like to accept a challange from player "X" screen...i accept his request....before i get a responce from player "A"...and that leaves player "A" hanging...with every body thats challenging player "A" getting the "player has already been challanged" prompt.

this also happens the opposite way....i get a "request" and it is replaced by another players "request" a split second before i accept the first challange.i then go into a match with the second player..thus leaveing my first challanger hanging...and every one that challenges him gets the "allready challanged" prompt

yeah, the "challenge" system is not perfect ...

oh.. and u turn on "dnd" in the options menu, and NOT with the "/dnd" command (@least not yet) :biggrin:
