make a ryu banner but i need help with border. how do you add one?

lol he asked how to make a banner, not ur oppinion on his work...
ways to make border... 1. pick your color... choose pencil tool... click on the very last pixel on either left, right, top or bottom side ofur banner, hold shift... and then drag ur mouse up and down(if its on left or right side) or left and right(if its on top or bottom side), by holding shift... it will make ur line straight even if youmess up... 2. select ur entire canvas... go Layer> Layer Style> Stroke.... make it 1 pxl... select ur color... change it from 'Outside' to 'Inside'. this is for making 1 pxl borders... if youwant thicker borders then using the same methods u can wide ur border... i prefer to first method myself... |

to make your border.. Y_09 taught me this..
1st make 3 duplicates of your main piece.. On the 1st and last layer go to blending mode and go to stroke and for the first layer make it 1px black inside.. Then for the 3rd layer do the same as in layer 1 but make it 3px black inside instead of 1 Then for the second layer make it 2px and make it white inside. After that merge them all by hitting ctrl+E and your done.. THANX Y_09 :) |

THANX Y_09 :)[/quote] no i said to you 1.create a new layer 2.fill it in black 3.duplicate it 3 times 4.on the top layer set the blending mode to lighten then stroke it with 1 px black 5. on the second layer set the blending mode to lighten then stroke it with 2px any colour of your choice 6.on the 3rd layer set the blending mode to lighten and stroke it 3px black 7.and your done, ps your dnt have to use black and white you can use any colour you wish |
