Lmfoa nice example there are others too. They resize the sprite and color it in becomes annoying and not original. Most people follow others using gradients me i stick to my own things.

I agree 100%, sick and tired of these kids posting "OMG THAT SO TOTALLY RAWKZ 10/10!112!".

actually that kinda true... artist should change style and try sumthin new... its just that not every1 is one... i admit im not one, i prob wopnt b one either with all the comments is get and im not the only one... most ppl these days get comments that are absolutely not helpfull... and if they try a new style others will say it sux and they will jus drop that style and not try to improve... now mainly i see y u made this post since u included my banner in this... and honestly i dunt think wut i make is a decent style... i just like the colors and the way it looks and i make it for myself alone in whatever way i like it... i might change sumthin mayb a lil bit i mean id have 2 say looking back 3-4 months ago i have improved alot... but ive reached a stage now that the improvemnts would require alot more change and that will never happen if the work will b shunned. i have not said ur work sux vf, i jus didnt like that work as much... i like the colorfull ones but ones more smooth kinda like the ones most other ppl make theyr jus colorfull smooth some with nice text... and its prob gonna take me alot more hard work in order for me to be actually taken seriously in gfx... but thats one thing i might not b able to achieve... so ill stik with wut looks good for me and if others like it that nice, if they dunt then thats nice also... if youlike wut i make then thats y ppl request banners from me. i personaly think rating is just crap... id rather see a comment that would help me improve then wut i usually hear: 'sux' '3/10' or w/e other ppl get on theyr work 2. anyways pz that was my 2 cents.

Well, all of you are making good sense. Only one thing to know. Alot of people make banners to be a baner maker or to let all of you rate them. Alot of people are being banner-makers from all around the world everyday. Some people have just started and they need your pinions on their banners to see if they have gotten better. I WAS gonna be a banner-maker and I am still thinking about it. Enough about me...anywayz I see alot of people working hard no matter how unique the style is. Some people wanna see new styles and some people overlook it and rate the actual banner. Also, alot of people do try to make the most unique and never-before-seen better ever, but it's hard for them.When someone rates the baer of a bad comment then they might do these things:

1. Quit
2. Try harder
3. Rip someone else's banner from another forum (it can happen..you never know)
4. Say that they didn't make it
5. Get a ####anner program to try harder

It's hard for those banner makers to make a new style. The important thing that matters to them if:

1: Other people like it
2: Hoping that it's ghood enough
3: Being the best (ALMOST everyone wants to be the best...40%/100%
4. Hoping that they can do better

Alot of people just wanna see banners for the heck of it. Everyone has AT LEAST one unique thing in banner from the others. Banner-makers try their best to make unique banners anyway. The non-banner-makers have to be patient when the time comes. Even adding one pic to a banner can make a difference. ALOT of you banner-makers started out as a banner-making-rookie. All of you have gotten better and better and I don't think anyone complained about any rookie work a long time ago until now. Doesn't matter if you wana see different banners..doesn't matter if you are pissed off about it. It's hard for some of those banner-makers to make a REALLY unique banner. They might not even care what other people think. AT LEAST their actually showing all of you. They really don't have to be around here and watch people complaining about who wants to see something different. Banner-makers don't like it when people complain about the banners they have made. At least they made a banner and the other person didn't make ANYTHING.

You saying you don't copy people styles =/. I can't give people helpful comments they take advatage of it thinking their all that and the poop. For instance you got all good comments in ya nferno banner thread soon as someone1 said something negative u all down their throat.

i dunt think i said i copied ppls style or i didnt... honestly i do admit i partially copied ppls styles... i started trying to copy rycvk... mostly wut i got is the scan lines thing and a bit for color... now im kinda trying to learn from cc and sw's style... i dunt look at it as copying, more like learning wut other ppl see is good about it and applying as much on my banner as i can... u can accuse me or w/e but i think by doing that i have improved quite a bit... cuz comments these days dunt help me, its jus hate passed around so im jus learning by myself by looking wut others do good or wut i think they do good in it.

as long as someone doesnt abuse the style.

well i hope im not abusing it, i jus put in what ppl see more good of diff styles into my own work... im not sure wut kinda stryle mine is but im trying to make it a style that includes mostly the best of every other style.
