The game worked fine in version 0.1, but once I downloaded 0.2a (and subsequently 0.2b), I have been unable to play a game.
It connects and goes through the character select screen fine, but once the fight background comes up, the game freezes. No players are visible, the names and menus are still on the sides (they didn't slide in), and the boxes with the pictures of Ryu and Wolvie are just blue.
I'd like to play this game again...

hmm...

well, it could be something to do with that fact that we switched over to Shockwave 8.5 :(

try downloading the LATEST plugin from Macromedia.com (under downloads)

if all else fails, well, are you using IE or Netscape?

YEAH THANKS TO 8.5 THERRE ARE A BUNCH OF NEWBIES SAYING " HOT TO UPDATE"

Downloaded 8.5, still has the same problem (both in practice and against other people)

I have Internet Explorer 6.

####...

TMyApp: I am having the same problem on occasion. I play the game a lab at a university and some of the computers work, but some exhibit the behavior described above (background looks fine, can't ever fight).

#### macromedia :(

it really sounds like a plugin problem on individual systems...

u can always try uninstalling Shockwave from IE, or, trying Netscape :(

or, try using a different link:

http://168.144.153.158/full/xvssf.html
http://168.144.153.158/full/xvssfnet... <br /> even if you dont have Netscape, try the second link (it MIGHT help).

I apparently forgot the first rule of computer troubleshooting: reboot.

Thanks for the help anyway.
