im sick of people telling people or me thay lag some of you need to read this go down to the paragraph thats titled Latency? Ping? Lag? What does it all mean? and read it

I know what you mean. I got on the game earlier and after i beat a few people I noticed that they started to complain about 'I hit you and you didn't take damage'..blah..i tried to explain to them that this was caused by lag.

Lag Explanation (in simple terms)

Lag is a term used often. It relates to slow internet speed, sometimes due to a server problem, but more commonly due to the connection between server and client.

A lagger, is someone who uses a slow 56 kbit/s modem to connect to the internet, then joins a multiplayer game (such as SFO) and who has a high ping time. In synchronous games, where all clients must know the exact game state, a single "lagger" will slow down the game for everyone, since the server has to wait for the client to get every communication packet.

What is Ping?

A protocol that sends a message to another computer and waits for acknowledgment, often used to check if another computer on a network is reachable.

you know what i killed a lot of ppl and most of the ppl i killed always complained about lag and then i tryed to tell them why and they didnt listen cuz they were un focused on what i was saying so i just tryed again and they still dont listen they just keep asking why when i hit you it didnt take no damage that was a vip his name was 16X or what ever

when ever some one tells me i lag i just ignore theam

yeah same here people complain about it, wut i think happens is we dodge an attack but they think that it went through u but u actually dodged, so it's actually their comp just doesn't see the dodge, so they can't complain...

they don't know that lag actually hurts laggers a lot too cuz people with a fast connection and comp can rape us with sent by just rocket punching and then super jumping to the other side and using a super, usually when that happens to me is i just get cheap...
