Sorry! I couldn't put any more images in the first post and had to take over this post, all he said was "nice tut" anyway!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Color Balance: so ive been seing alot of crappy color in banner. i thought to myself. "wow, those banners fliping suck. what they need it some.... COLOR BALANCE" this is a simple tut, cuz it be on color, y0. the only thing its really gonna show you, is how to open up color balance. the rest is up to you. (oh, and some tips not to over flip the color) okay, first, make a grey BG. then, noce you haev it just how you like it, push ctrl + b, (or image > adjusments > color balance if you be too much of a ##### to push ctrl + b, y0) to open up color balance. now, color balance is a much MUCH more effect colorizing tool. it can give you buautiful multi tonal color, that connot be dont with hue/saturation. okay, now you are currently in the "midtones" window. play around with the levers and nobs here. make SURE not to jack them up to +100 and -100. the color ALWAYS comes better when you give it a little bit here, such as red 50%, and red 50% in shadows. what are shadows? well, click here: http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/7986/fistimage.gif to find out. omfg, its shadows!?! what do they do? well, jack one up to 100 to find out. omg, it make the dark areas dark with color. well, now that you know, play with the lavers and nobs here. remember, jackign them too far gives it a high contrast feel which is teh uber suck. its always good to combine midtones, shadows, and highlights. wait.. what are high lights?! click here to find out. http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/4736/secondimage.gif omg, a new set of levers. jack one up to 100 to find out there resuts. OMG, they make the bright areas bright with colors! wow! okay, but heres a cation with tips. you never want to jack up these levers too much. highlights is a very powerful tool. if you use too many, you get a hardcore bright contrasted image. (WHICH SUCKS) the most you ever want to go in these, it +75, or -75. but i suggest never going past -50 and +50. okay, now you mix them together. (the midtones, highlights and shadows.) they should make your banner/work much better, with dinamicly awsome color. ANOTHER TIP: i think that using green, or blue, or whatever color highlights looks nasty. i ONLY use yellow or red highlights. closing- and now you know how to make great, dinamic color. well, now go use them muda-fudka! http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/1039/Untitled-54.gif Edited By Warmor on 1098513782 |
