What do I mean by "Remove", and my description "Picture/Banner(animation)" What I'm saying is that some of ya member has a Picture/Banner(animation) is that you slow down 56k users. Example you get EvilRyu doing a Raging Demon as your signature. It slow down 56k user to see the page. Some of ya member has over 1mb on banner that include animation. What I'm saying is that to check your bytes. How do you do it. On your mouse move the arrow to the picture. Click on the right button and scroll down to properties and check the size of the files. You will see the size. When I'm visiting topic it takes 6 minute or more for me to visit the page. If you got 56k you will understand what I mean.

animation for a banner only takes 10-15 frames... 10-15 frames cant reach 1mb

for example my banner is 17.5 kb the other *DARKNESS WITHIN FORUM* banner is about 25kb.

so what i suggest is that people change their file format from jpeg to .gif

.gif is a smaller size...

also you should have the temp folder saving webpages.... if you keep deleting the settings inside the temp folder then you will repeatedly load every banner...which is hell...

Actually even an animation with a few frames can take up loads of space cos you cants save animations a jpeg's can you? You can choose the quality so the better the quality the larger the file. Yeh i sppose people should stop with the large banners, but you should have put this in the banners section tho.

some people don't know how to use frames which make 56k user site load slow

animations in sigs are usless. most of them arnt made by the person who owns the sig, its usually a gif of a charecotr. now thats plain usless. why? because we've all see that gif one billion times and dont care to see it in a cloudy BG with plain black text.


on the other hand, i do respect gifs that are like, micro fighters, or like the one liger has.

you may never know, sometimes it takes me 6 minute, then it say ERROR could not fine this site. but now it takes me 1-3 minute. Since I have XP and some member has window 95 and 98 which make there time higher

ok, time for you to get a little something !

1 - why complaining ? you got a little option that says, disable signatures. disable it and bingo you got no time to waste with banners and all !

2 - want me to put an animted JPEG into GIF format ? why would i do that when our banners are already in GIF format since JPEG cannot be animated ?

so seriously, if i want to put my 2 megabyte banner on which by the way is not finished with !

you got a 56k like i got, then fine, just disable the signature !
but i must tell you, i don't know why you are bragging like that, for i have less then 56k and it takes less then 1 minute downloading these for the text is all i need and it loads first.
