Realisticily Cowboy Bebop is probally the only anime I still like.
It was more close to real life it wasn't to farfetched. It seemed as though Spike lived the life I've felt I was capable of.... And the way the series ended was truely a blockbuster...if it ever went to the the big screen. What are your views of this well made anime. :sneaky: |
well all i got to say is....this was probably the best anime series i have ever seen  and like you said it wasn't that farfetched

All I wanna say is, who do these guys think they are.. I mean.. They create a character that ppl tend to get really close to. They develop him in a nice way adding a few fillers and other minor characters...
When they've run outta ideas to expose more on the character, they do the inevitable.. just to avoid being critized.. kill the bloody guy. Now that's unfair! |
blanka, yer a anime n_e_w_b
yes, cowboy bebop rules, and so does spike, but people die, and its not like you couldnt see it comin eventually....as the series got closer and closer to the end, spike's "adventures" have ended nearer and nearer to death. This is anime--NOT the kiddie DBZ crap (its a good show, but not as complex or grown up as Cowboy Bebop or Escaflowne) where everyone comes back to life. Watch Escaflowne, or Zoids Chaotic Century/Guardian Force, or Inuyasha, or Outlaw star...those will drive you NUTS if you cant handle Cowboy Bebop...they all have characters sacrificing self for the good of others....theres main character death, enemy victory, and all sorts of other goodness in em all PS--you aint seen all the eps of Cowboy Bebop--there are like 11 missing in the middle that never aired in the US (somethin like sessions 27-38 are missing, im probably off by a little) Edited By viper2040 on Feb. 09 2004 at 22:51 |
Cowboy Bebop is probably my favorite anime series cause the protagonist doesnt have any superhuman powers..like many other anime series and just cause the plot is great.. :p

Where else can you find a fellow with such a dramatic life.
And with one eye viewing the past while the other the future. |
man i love cowboy bebop cause spike was da man. i had things in common in spike like his chillin type of attitude. i hated the fact that he died but at least he died like a straight up G. like it or not its one of the best endings for an anime. Trigun is another example. my fav character was Wolfwood. i liked him alot cause he was a troubled man like myself. then they killed him off too. but he died like a G aswell. he beat his own master in combat. not to mention he weilds a huge cross. i was pissed that Wolfwood was killed off aswell. back to bebop. it was a great anime also because of the action. it had gunfights, explosions, martial arts, drinking, smoking, and hot chicks. what more could u ask for??

I agree with everyone here. Cowboy Bebob is top of the Anime charts, and is more realistic. No Kamehameha's here, just good ol' gunshooting with chicks! :D

Escaflowne... hit me with a wombat.. but my Lord.. why kill both Spike and Julia? It wasn't just necessary.. that's my POV. Anyway, the so-called missing episodes... did they occur before or after The Real Folk Blues pt 2?? |
