well there was a ds only thread so what the hell....why not make a psp thread.
currently im playing nba street showdown. its sucks ass after a couple of days playing it...it looks like poop compared to the other titles on psp. The game i do want is need for speed underground rivals. it looks badass on psp. Alsop are there any good rpgs out for psp yet? |

Ahh the PSP is wicked. Ridge Racer is great, wipeout looks good to and it has a secret web browser for surfing the net. As for rpg's, the only one out now is Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade. It didn't get the best of reviews but its 4 player mode looks exciting. There are more on the way though.

theres another thing that brought my attention. Supposedly the psp is only running at 222mhz instead of the 333mhz that it has. I hear it has something to do with battery life. if it did run at 333mhz it would be more powerful than the current ps2 console which runs at 300mhz.
anyways...i want something like chrono chross or some good rpg....that'll keep me busy for a while....kingdom hearts maybe? |
Well a Final Fantasy 7 game is coming out for the psp, called crisis core. And I was pondering on the 333mhz issue too, imagine an even more powerful psp who knows maybe later variations of it might support 333mhz without consuming battery life. Whatever happens 222mhz power in a hand held for me.

well, i have "darkstalker chronicles the chaos tower" and i am gonna buy midnight club 3 when it comes out. i have a question to whoever already added music: how do you add music? i know, i know "read the manual" BUT! i do not understand it. i only understand that you need a USB cable, or some memory card reader/writer thing but i don't know what to do. my friend said that there is a USB cable in the back of the computer, but i don't think you are suppose to use that one.
can you please give me a detailed, step by step process to add music, pretend you are talking to a guy that doesn't know much about this stuff ok? oh and i want to add mp3 music |

well i dont think they need to release any variations of the psp to make it run at 300mhz. Usually a firmaware update would unlock the extra clock speed. Or games could have a signed colde that would allow them to unlock it just for that certain title. also there are reports of emulators running on psp. i cant verify anything but i did try using one on mines(it was an nes emulator). although the psp did detect the program,sadly it didnt run, mainly becuase it was meant to run on the older japanese psps with 1.0 firmware. All US psps are 1.5, so dont expect to see anything for a while. But still its pretty kool. imagine runniing you own programs on psp, like a full web broswer, instant messaging, etc. |
