Yesterday I bought Super Street Fighter IIx Revival for the GBA. I was very happy, because I had searched for it forever to find it. I took it home and played it into the ground.

Today, I unlocked the boss fight with Akuma in time trial. I was shocked to see how powerful he was in SFIIx, and finally managed to beat him on the 5th try.

Afterwards, I went through the standard arcade mode until the final fight. Rather than showing M. Bison/Vega's face, it showed Akuma's! I was shocked! I anxiously pressed the button to face off against him... and his after-battle image appeared on the screen and glitched. The colors fliped up, the music continued, and all game function otherwise ceased.

I researched this phenomenon on the internet, and it turns out that all SFIIx GBA carts are fatally flawed! If you unlock the fight with Akuma in arcade mode, the game will fatally freeze every time. In addition, several modes on the box that are listed are not in the game, such as Character Edit, Team Battle, and Mission modes.

NOOOOOOOO! But in my research I found that Capcom had tried to pull the game from the shelves to stop the damage from spreading, which was why it was so hard to find it. In addition, Capcom is offering some nice perks for returning the cart to THEM, such as $39.99 plus S&H back, a free GBA game and related T-Shirt/game guide, or something else I can't remember...

But still, NOOOOOOOO! I loved that game! Now I gotta wait for SFA3 to come out next month... DAMMIT!

LMAO!!! that is funny as hell, but kind of sad too. all that hard work and money to find the game, but it turns out to be fatally glitched in the end. well, why not use the perks to get yourself another better game? like ggx or kof or maybe even the new sf alpha game.

I'm going to return it for the money, and save some of the money to get KOF Ex: Neo Blood for the GBA when it comes out, and also to get SFA3 on the GBA when it comes out.

Still... it is sad... I also just learned that all of my time attacks times are screwed, too... DAMN YOU AKUMA!

yeah, get KOF, cause there aren't that many chances to play KOF nowadays anymore.

Hey mr Dan Sorry to hear that.About your game and all But that is a nice game I will go to circuit city and try and get onez.I love X-men and I like akuma a lot.I don't kare I will take that chacne and buy that game any how I like to beat gamez and become a champion in them.I enjoy whooping other characters till they programming.Would love to make them cry even though it won't allow it.I will enjoy that game and I will continue to collect for my GBA*Thx for this topic D@n I feel sorry for you though what you will be misssing out on with that Akuma.I want to get the Streetfighteralpha3 Game next so Badly Oh my GOSH.
