The Best Rpgs I've played are...
FireEmblem: GBA The game had a excellent storyline. Excellent sound and graphics. So many damn characters. (character-wise) Offered a wide variety of character skills and fighting status. (PEGASUS KNIGHT, WARRIOR, ETC.) The characters were also well drawn as well as the women in the game. The girls were sexah. ALTHOUGHT THATS NOT THE REASON I PURCHASED IT The stages were also set up well. A very good game for a guy who likes "tactical" turn based games. XenoGears: PS The game had an excellent storyline. It had a unique battle system. It had excellent sound and graphics. Fun stages, characters, and battles. When they put up mechs in the game it made the game even more badass. This is probably one of the best rpgs ever made for ps that I know of. Final Fantasy 7: PS A classic rpg which was game of the year a few times. This game had everything plus a bag of chips. It had excellent characters, mediocre graphics, good sounds, badass bosses and summons. Hell the characters even cursed, it gave the game more realism. The battle system was also intense. (Materia, etc.) Can say too much about this, all I know is that it rocked. Front Mission 3: PS This game was cool for me. Excellent sounds and graphics for its time. It had awesome sounds and battle scenes. Mechs fighting to the death; whats cooler than that? Although this game was hard as flip it was clearly worth the money. It was almost guaranteed that you'll still be playing it in a week or 2. You couldn't beat the game even if you tried in less than 100hrs. wow.. check out the syntex. Edited By k0rr1 on 1115679841 |

Why did Final Fantasy 8 have to suck?

It didn't. |
I would have to say... Final Fantasy 9. Why? It was a good challenge. I mean, if the game has 4 discs, then it must be good. :D The only other game that might've been better is...well...i'm no sure what could be better

Final Fantasy X (Haven't played any other versions)
Every time you turn a corner there is a boss waiting for you, very challenging. Since this was the first f I've played I have become an enthused f fan! Breath of Fire IV -Nothing to fancy about it, I just thought it was a long and fun game. Sure the game was all text (no voice acting) but the battles and fishing struck a chord for me. Facing Fou-Lou was like a chess game, very classic and very long. Zelda: Link to the Past- The best zelda game for snes This game had some unique puzzle elements such as going in and out of mirrors switching worlds....etc. The bosses give you a run for your money also (Ganon) Thats all I can think of |

It didn't.
Sure it did. They started the story off fine, but somewhere near the middle of Disc 1 it all went to crap. Edited By marvel911 on 1115760592 |
[quote:post_uid0="Shinatsu"]Zelda: Link to the Past-
The best zelda game for snes
Well...only Zelda game on the SNES. I can tell you some good RPG's, some you may have never played, and should pick up at any cost. Illusions of Gaia; SNES I loved this one. The story, graphics, atmosphere...it just pulled you in. Music plays a HUGE part of RPG's, and even if you don't notice it, you might like the game more because of the music. Awesome adventure that challanges religion in the end. Super Mario RPG; SNES Nintendo did it right. Great mini-games, and threw the Mario universe into the RPG realm with ease. You have the charm of our jump happy friend with all the elements that makes a RPG great. Had unique features of it's own as well. A must. EarthBound; SNES The most simple graphics ever, but the game is so corkey and funny and fun, you can never forget it. So much to do, so fun, great music, and who could forget walking through the park and fighting a New Age Retro Hippy or challanges the Happy Happy Cultists? Chrono Cross; PS1 Not as good as original, but still magical. The sheer amount of characters you can get is amazing, and the story is so far out there...you really need to try to keep up. The twist it has is CRAZY and take the game in a whole new direction. Star Ocean: The 2nd story; PS1 This game is so beautiful it will make you cry. The best part has to be the battle system, but even better then that is the way you can choose who joins or doesn't join your party, and how the characters can actually form relationships with each other. The item creation system is such a masterpiece, I found myself spending my play sessions just trying to make new items, or cooking, so I could par-take in the cooking festival. Genius. Lunar, all of them; Sega CD When this came out, it was huge. Then it came out on the PS1, and was huge. For a good reason. The game has eye candy, but then throws the character models at you like little cartoons. The Anime cut scenes was new, and an awesome touch, and still are. They even had voice overs for some parts! The battle system was also clever and fun. You want to talk RPG's? I'm your guy. |
Pokemon (O_O), This game keeps you in it. they have allot of pokemon the graphics are good and there is alot of reply value.
