As you can see, this is a piece run in Electronic Gaming Monthly covering Socom II. The picture is of Russian soldiers holding copies of the game. Take note of the black cloth ribbons wrapped on the bottom left of the boxes.

The pictures the soldiers are actually holding are of fallen Russian soldiers of the Sofrinskaya brigade, killed in action fighting the war in Chechnya.

I am very upset about this. It is a horrible mockery of values that should not be tampered with; an absence of respect for the dead almost completely, used to advertise a video game.

if both images were taken form the internet ?
with computers today you can easily do everything !
i say yes, it is a mockery that shouldn't be... but that is if it is real, tell us the source of your pictures cause i doubt any magasine, or any game companies to have done such a stupid thing, they are better then that. and i even more doubt the game to have such a stupid MENU BACKGROUND !

so really, is that even real !

if its real, and the game magazine knew what it was originally, then that's truly sad.

i cannot agree more on that marve|, but seriously, we all know here that stupid morons that likes to make fun of real things exists and will always be.

what i'm saying is that i doubt it to be a real MAGASIN or GAME COMPANY image, they knowbetter and have better taste picture wise !
