i think we should have a support section, where ppl make topic and ask question and other member come to the topic and answer all there question ( maybe a few ). anyways what do you guys think? i know bg has one but bg is a forum for x-force. and this forum should have a support section for the site. like how do i reply a topic lol. and such and such...

when i first give the idea of a ####IE HELP section, my thought were the kind of a section called QUESTION AND ANSWERS

i still think it would be better to have that kind of section. cause all questions would go there. the problem with ####IE HELP was the fact that if the person had been here for about a month they were saying they weren't ####ie and they posted their questions every where in the place.

so again, i must reask for another section.

i'm with RE... just do a QUESTION AND ANSWER section and all our QUESTION probelms will be solved !

ok, creating a new section isnt hard. Setting it up right CAN be.

If you guys want this done, first, i need you to tell me exactly how its to be set up, and then i can run it by tmyapp.
Here are the options to decide on:
(im assuming that its "category" is "Xvssf" as opposed to "announcements" or "non XvsSF")

Forum Name
Forum Description
Who can read, and or reply to topics, and or start topics in there
Should it be a sub-section of, say, /\/ewbie help, or perhaps vice versa

WHY should it be added, as opposed to reworking either bugs and or /\/ewbie help

Battle Grounds will have its own site now...

Resident Evil 09-20-2003 04:18 PM

File Name: The Academy Or Support ( Optional )
Description: Got Any Question? Get Them Answer Here.
Section: XvsSF
Why: To Help Others Who Need Them. Ex: XvsSF Help , Forum Help.

And thats all the intel i got so far.

SSJKarma 09-20-2003 08:11 PM

File Name: Questions & Answers
description: Got Questions ? We Got The Answers !
Section: XvsSF
Why: to keep people from posting questions in the the wrong section. its also a better way to get thing done then the NEW COMER HELP section. because people seems to say, i'm no new comer, but i got a question, i posted here cause i don'T know where to put it ! si i think it would be better to have a QUESTIONS & ANSWERS se ction as opposed to the new comer section ! at least all questions even done by veterans can be answered there !

WHO CAN READ and POST: everyone
SUB SECTION : nah, just forget about ####ie help and get everything in the new QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

if you read everything right, i'm asking you to change the name of NEW COMER HELP to QUESTIONS & ANSWERS which i think reflects more the section itself !

if you ask my opinion about this, i think there should be two HELP sections

one for the upcoming site/site, either technical or anything site/site-related

second, a "non-related to site" HELP section (ie, about computers, web designs or anyting under the sun for that matter)
