In the middle of a match, it's understandable to take away points for leaving. But I get the message 'Exiting the game will result in loss of points' even if I am in practice. It even said that after I beat someone in the countdown screen. I really don't want to wait for the timer to go all the way down...

Will someone answer this please

KidKrazyShit 04-05-2002 04:16 PM

well, I dont have an answer, but I do have a question to ask myself.

Sometimes when the game freezes and I click the main menu button to leave it says "Exiting the game will result in loss of points."
but will i still lose points even though the game is frozen?

See, now that's exactly what I'm talking about. I've had that happen to me, as well. It gives you that message no matter what. The most aggravating time is after you've beaten someone and the countdown screen comes up. You don't feel like rematching them, so you hit the 'Main Menu' button to leave, but then it gives you that message. You've already won, but you sit there and wait anyways just in case.

I don't think you loose points for leaving after winning... I guess that thing just needs/needed to be fixed!

TMyApp 04-05-2002 06:41 PM

that msg is just for n00bs....

see the "rules" section of the top scores to find out EXACTLY when you do and don't lose the score if/when you quit

Sorry to get off topic....
But, how come that link didn't show in my Signature?

You just put the URL, you have to put (url)http://projectx.cyberfuturism.com/faq(/url) (Replace () with [])
