Yes, it's true and it'll be for PC.
The story will be a continuation of the origional story(so, after the third movie). You get to customize your character (Looks, Gender, Skills, etc) and you're inside the Matrix. I can't really explain it, but it's gonna be so freak'n sweet.
If you're wondering, I saw the info on the Special Features disc that comes with Revolutions.

yeah and for those who wonder about the ability to go faster and see some kind of slow motion in it...
well forget it... in story mode, which there will be one, there is gonna be slow motion moves just like in enter the matrix ! but in multi, no slow-mot, only accelerated moves, IE you'll see shadows behind your character !

it follows the storyline based on revoltuion.
PEACE is there, everyone is unplugged fromt he matrix... but people still goes in for the heck of it.
and that will be it !

and by the way... its an MMORPG !

I wouldn't really call it an RPG. More of an Action/Fighting/Adventurish game.

Actually, there is slow-mo in multiplayer. I'm pretty sure that certain moves that your character does are automatically slow-mo.

then tell me razz... how do you solve the problem that it is an online game ?
which means that if you go slow mo others will have to see you in slow-mo as well.

i wouldn't see 30 people getting slow-moed because one activated a certain move.

see, same thing as to why max payne wasn't made to be played in multi either, same slow-mo problems !
so all they can do to make you faster thent he others is to actually accelerate the characters cause making them slow-mo would also make all other players going into slow-mo as well ! which would be stupid because it would take foirever to get to one end of the field since there is next to no chance of having people using slow-mo !

see what i mean... well i can't wait for it and i do hope the story mode will be in as they said there would be !
