Everytime I try connecting to a game, I get this message:
"Unable to connect. Please check your ip/port settings in the options menu. (See FAQ for more details)" Can someone tell me how to fix this problem? I can't check the FAQ... it seems to be down. |
yea the faq is down check members help center knows questions there you find your awnser to your question :D

If you are behind a router you can't connect to any fights. sometimes you can, but it is VERY rare.

and if you are behind a firewall try checking old connection mode in options under network :biggrin: |
or if you have a modem..... try checking you network connections on your computer because i had this problem, too..

I don't think the faq is down.. TMyApp probably put the wrong link in the engine.. so here it is..

Now if you're using a router, then you can't host games.. you've got to either join, or play quick games. :biggrin: On the other hand, if you tried to join, a game that might be closed or has started, the message that the game's closed an you being unable to join pops up and then turns to Check your ip/port settings.. Don't know why, but it usually does that :biggrin: And finally, if your opponent leaves before the game gets to the selection stage (where you select your characters) then that message might come up.. Just make sure you read the FAQ and try and see whatever option helps you :biggrin: |

Try checking ur settings maybe something is wrong there. ;)
