i was just wondering, how do u record battles? id really like to study over any previous battles, and also, does lag show up in the recordings?

Bob~Marley4004 02-21-2004 09:59 AM

you mean how many wins and losses?

well..when u login just click top-scores,than at the top click search, and type in your name...it will show how many wins and losses you have..

and also lag doesnt show up in recordings..

but they have a bug on this game=sometimes it doesnt count the scores even though you might win..

shall be fix by April 7!

when you say "recording" do you meant that you can auctually record digital video of the battle and then watch it later.

if thats not what you're talking about, then do you think it would be a good idea to have the "recording" that im talking about

well..not digital  filesize would be huge...average file was was about 100k for this type of file  but the thing had to many bugs...and no time to fix'em so it was removed

Angel-Eyes 02-21-2004 04:45 PM

so i was partially right? was it kind of like a temporary replay or a permanent file you could download.

SSJKarma 02-23-2004 12:04 AM

first : the recorder is still there but do not work anymore !
type in /recorder int he chat box during a fight !

second : it wasn't removed, just disabled ever since we got the 4PLAYER bug. why ? because [quote:post_uid0="TMyApp"]I'm just too lazy to fix the many bugs the 4player mode made the recorder have.[/quote] so there ya got your answer.

third : it was an ASCII txt file , so yeah it was permanent, i think at the time, SENSHUK had a section dedicated to saved games like this, they could be viewed later on by the game engine !

fourth : there is still some ways to record your fights.
GET yourself a copy of SNAG IT. that software can record a what is going on inside an active window.
*** WARNING ***
This will slow down as hell your computer, so make sure you got a big computer with a big hard drive considering a fight of 30 seconds can take up to 50megs at the maximum compression unti, unless you play in DIVX which is the best for compression !

hope this helped ya to understand how it works... the recorder will get back to us one day... it is planned already... but as long as TMyApp list gets updated with bugs and other bugs, the feature will just get delayed just like the rest !
