I also have a USB to XBOX converter which connects my XBOX gamepad to my computer and I can't get it to work
So you see we're not that much different(except the PS2/XBOX thing I suppose  ).. but the point is, it's not yet possible to do that. The keyword of course is.. yet. The console or game on its own doesn't have that feature that lets you bind your ps2 gamepad keys to the controller config in order to use it to play. The only option you have is to download a program from the net that lets you bind the keys on ur keyboard to the keys/buttons on the gamepad. If you can do that, then just bind the default or your custom keys to your PS2 gamepad buttons and you should be set. The probability that you know what I'm talking about above; I 'm sure is quite low... cause i myself haven't bothered looking for such program. Our only option now is to play the game like other mere mortals with the keyboard. Using the keys to combine moves and do continous hadoukens as such  ... besides, it's not that bad and you'll get used to enjoying it from time to time. In conclusion, you can't uses ur controller to play the game yet... except you have a programme that binds your keyboard keys to your ps2 buttons. |
