along with downloading sfo10b.exe, i also downloaded cAkuma.cct, cBack2b.cct, cMusic.cct and i just stuck those 3 in the sfo file that was made during the extraction done by the sfo10b.exe file. well...i don't think this was the correct thing to do...after selecting my character at the character select screen, the game freezes. just like that! perhaps i installed the 3 extra files incorrectly?

i had the old .7e version of XvSF and am I supposed ot do anything with that to upgrade to SFO?

tiny_prey 11-04-2003 11:51 AM

i sure did.

am i supposed to put any XvSF files into the StreetFighterOnline folder?

You were supposed to get the upgraded one if you already had version 0.7e of XvsSF.. on your hard drive.. If you didn't have the files required to play XvsSF on ur hard drive, then it wouldn't be possible to play SFO with the upgraded version only..
What you should do is to scroll down and download all the cct files for the Characters and music etc.. including the main file for SFO

but i do have version .7e of XvSF on my hard drive...

whatever...i'll just dl all the files if i have to...

you may have them on your hard drive.. by they have to be in the same folder..

ifuwish to upgrade, you basically "dump" the 4 "upgrade" files into u'r old XvsSF folder, and run SFO.exe ... all .CCT files must be in the same dir as SFO.exe (we really need error checking for this.. but you know... *cough* )
