alrite here's what u goto file new canvas, make the canvas size about 350 by 120 pixels thats how big i make my tags. then open a pic u want on ur banner in internet explore copy it, goto edit paste look to the side u 'll see ur toolbar its a rectangular shape click on the magic wand and click on the pic with the magic wand then press delete. after that click maximize on the layer window and then click on the background layer goto filter render clouds and ur on ur way. just mess with filters and gradients and you should be good.

? Its a little bit different the way i do it. I first start off a new pic. Usually 400 by 100. Then i open every pic that i wanna use. I edit them first. Then i click and drag em on to the picture that im creating. And from there you can use the tutorials to create effects and different things.

dammit, ppl, don't you realize now?

gfx design isn't some kind of hobby you do for fun like playing games or somethin. it's an investment into your future. ppl get paid up to 90,000$ a year for this kind of stuff. if you wish to enter the computer industry and make something out of youself, gfx design is a good plus, otherwise there's no need to get into this kind of crap. it's just like forums, not everyone can create one! too many becomes crap.
