i need help to down load the latest version or i cant play
need help(im a ####ie) |
Well goto the main pagehttp://www.streetfighteronline.com and click on start, then if you want to play right away just click on mirror1 and a new window should pop up and start loading the game. If you don't have shockwave installed it will install it for you. once it does then just goto the main page again and do the same steps. From there if it's your 1st time loading the game it will pop up a scren asking for your permisson to allow the game to fully load. once you do that login to your account(if you have made one,if not then go ahead and make one  ). Once you are logged in make sure to go into options and setup your controls and in you are behind a firewall put a check under "old connection mode." If you are behind a router you will have to either join games or wait for ppl to challenge you, you wont be able to host :( . Once you are set to go just click on start and then it will show 3 rooms to go into. Choose any room and then once your in there you are set to go  .If you are on dialup and hate loading a lot then it's best for you to get the download version of the game. To get the download version goto the main page again http://www.streetfighteronline.com and click on start like before but instead of clicking on "mirror1" click on download right under it and follow the steps it tells you and then your set to go  just do the options and stuff as mentioned above

If you using Internet Explorer and are playing the game on "mirror 1" try pressing the F5 button to reload the game.
This should give you the newest version. If that dont work. Try dumping your temporary internet files folder. On your browser goto: Tools/Internet Options A new window will appear with a row of Tabs acros the top. Click: General. there will be a section titled, "Temporary Internet Files" with 3 buttons. One of the buttons is labeled "Delete Files"...click it. then click "Ok" Then reload Street Fighter Online. If you are using the AOL brower interface. On your windows taskbar goto: Start/Programs/AOL System Information. A new window will appear with a row of Tabs across the top. Click: Utilitites. There will be a button labled "Clear Cache"...click it. then click "OK" Then reload Street Fighter Online....Damn you Nferno, ya beet me to it :D Edited By nosoul4evr on Feb. 03 2004 at 23:38 |
