well basically, [b:post_uid4]lag[/b:post_uid4] has something to do with your connectivity

it means you can receive but you have trouble transmitting thats why sometimes your opponent doesnt lose health easily while you do!

check other topics regarding this matter, this has already been posted ;)

well, if it was just that then CABLE users wouldn't lag at all as cable is able to do 300k/sec

LAG = Time it takes to the data to reach the other computer !

basicaly it is the NET himself who creates the lag.
example, the server in manhattan is loaded, he transfer his things to new york but the data rebound to hongkong and then gets to london and then to washington then finally came back to you !

see how the data is travelling ?
Lag is the time it takes to reach the destination from the origin.
your connectivity is just a mere 1/10 of the lag !
the more time it takes to the data to reach its target, the more lag you'll create !

the sad thing is, there is nothing we can do about the lag once it is no more on our machine !
