my msn is block by my firewall
does this happen to anyone else what can do to permit msn thru? |
.::About connecting to MSN behind a Firewall::.
Most corporate computer systems and some home computers have a firewall to prevent outsiders from accessing the system. For security, computers that connect to the Internet through broadband technology (for example, cable or DSL) should have a firewall  MSN Messenger will first attempt to connect directly so that you can use all of the MSN Messenger features. If MSN Messenger cannot connect directly, it will use the same HTTP connection that your default browser uses to connect to the Internet  To find out what kind of connection you have, in the main MSN Messenger window, click the Tools menu, and then click Options. Click the Connection tab :turn: ::Note:: If MSN Messenger uses your browser connection, you'll be able to send instant messages but some features of MSN Messenger (such as placing calls and sending files) might not be available  |

Depends on what kind of firewall you got. Though firewalls are a waste of time for advanced computer users like me. Anyhow just turn allow your firewall to accept the "port" which msn messenger uses to connect. Um any extra info will charge you $10.00 dollars a hr... :laughlong:
