This has bothered me ever since the implementation of rage factor points: Is it possible that TMy can tweak the transformation so as that it doesn't pause the character thus leaving him wide open for an attack? I always felt that by using your rage factor points, you should earn an advantage, not a disadvantage. Let me know if this is possible.

well you can use a helper than use rage or do it when your oppenet do a super ( and it don't hit you) anyways i like they way it is :hehe:

No, be happy that you even have rage factor. Anyways you can't just snap your fingers and turn evil. You can't always rely on rage to win a fight either you know.

Even though i dont use rage i see what syk is saying it was annoying even if youhad helpers to help u turn to rage factor

You obviously don't know who you are talking to. My ryu could have one leg and I'd still beat you, but I'll blame your comments on ignorance. It was a simple suggestion that I thought some norms wouldn't mind. I happen to have a v.i.p. account. So, how about YOU feel fortunate you have rage, unless you are one of the ones who used Lucky during the dsp days to sponsor you. Edited By |

No no.. This is actually a good suggestion.. but I don't think it should be implemented.
Before you dig up my grave, let me explain myself  See... the element of the rage factor is like a transformation.. and during that transformation, it's only natural that your character be useless to avoid attacks. Take the shun goku satsu for instance.. Immediately it's done, there's a space of time in which Akuma is left open to unfriendly fire. Even the period he's about to do it (just before the screen goes black) he's left open to attacks. So I think these basic elements of gaming should be taken into consideration. Making Ryu and other characters untouchable during their transformation removes that extra "element" that gives the game a good feel. If you could transform at will without being touched, then your opponent doesn't have anything to work on. See sometimes, it's that risk of transforming that gives you the edge.. if you can transform at a time, when your opponent has no chance of hitting you.. like when Guile.. or Cody's out.. or your TLF Helper's doing a super, then you're a strategic gamer. So in summary, I believe it should stay the way it is... not that it's not a good idea.. but then there's no fun in transforming.. knowing well, that you can't be touched. Edited By blanka09 on 1098284454 |
heh true but its not that major i like it how it is.

That was a very acceptable response blanka, thank you for taking the time to actually explain the pros and cons of this decision.

Yeah i hate when they pause but its a risk man its part of the game
A gamble if youmay.. U wanna use Dark pwrs u'll pay for it with the pause and probably a super that could finish u off |
