[color=#000000:post_uid12]I've tried every trick listed on this website, but no matter what I do, I consistently get this error message:

"Unable to create account. You are using an outdated version." blah blah blah...

It says 1.2d right in the corner... is this not the latest version?

I've tried web based, downloaded deleting cache, deleting cookies, hit F5 a ridiculous number of times, applying shockwave patches...

And I ALWAYS get this error. ErrorT1. If you can help PLEASE respond![/color:post_uid12]

Hold it right there... what's with you?? (never mind.. quote from I am weasel  )

Anyway, if you cleared ur cache properly (deleting old internet files and maybe cookies... mmm  ) you should NOT recieve the "outdated" message anymore.

Close all internet explorer pages do it again, close the pages again and try and load up the shockwave engine (i.e. SFO)

And if that does not work, make sure you're downloading the latest version of the game. I'm not really sure how you'll be getting such a problem because all things being equal, clearing ur cache and ur reloading the page should automatically give you the latest version of the game.

but pending on the note, try using the downloaded version... and the latest version of the game is 1.2d ... correct

So it should NOT give you that error if you're actually playing version 1.2d

And as for ur ErrorT1, try "downgrading" ur shockwave to version 8.5 which you can get on this page, http://streetfighteronline.com/download/

Post up a follow up when you have the chance

K... here is what I have done...

1.) Installed Shockwave 8.5 from your downloads section...
2.) Cleared Temporary files and Cookies
3.) Hit F5 numerous times on page.
4.) Am 100% sure I'm using the latest version.
5.) Go to sign up for account and get the exact same error message every time. ErrorT1, using an outdated version of the game.

...if I had to guess, maybe they use the outdated version message as a default message, and the problem lies elsewhere.

So, I've even tried disabling my firewall, virus scanner, spyware scanner, rebooting, blah blah blah...

Doesn't help.

Try the download version then.

Tried both...

I've even had a friend send me their working downloaded version.

You might be under a proxy!

In that case, send me a private message with the username you want to use, password and the email account you want to set this name for.

I'll try and create on for you and send it back to you... in the form of an email or a private message

And as for "working" the game, we might have to discuss that... cause we haven't actually had a situation where someone was unable to play after downloading earlier versions of shockwave or doing one of the things you've done
