ok, heres another no00bish question from the one and only legit no00b...me  (joke)

anywayz...im not really familiar with this Sf and MvsC arcade games until i discovered this one

so i just want to know if all of the basic character moves implemented/used here (like how you unleash hadoken, maximum spider, kikou shou, etc.) are just exactly the same when you apply it or play the arcade version?

i mean, can i also do the MP+LK in the arcade if i want drill claw for wolvie? or do sentinel beam when i HP on the arcade and others? or the variable and crossever moves?

tmyapp is trying to keep this version as close to the original as possible (i think) Anyway yeah most of th emoves are preety much the same. I havn't come across any that havn't been.

hm.. lots of things are different, but they are also pretty much the same.. gameplay is different, some moves are altered for best gameplay, health bars are different, etc, little changes but i wouldnt be surprise if ur not good in the arcades

The gameplay for the arcade is really different, the speed, air combos (of course), no lag (duh), supers, etc.

Most of the movies are probably the same (At least that's what it seems like from my experience with the game)
But Sentinel isn't in it, neither is Chun-Li (I think).. there's Cyber Akuma though.

Oh just remembered, the level 3 variable isn't in the arcade version

only on arcade u really have to grab the person..

SSJDan 04-02-2003 06:00 PM

in the arcade version when you do ryu's shinku haduken super you don't slowly fall down to the ground.

in mvc chun li is in the game while sentinel is a helper ( a secret one i think )

if you block maximum carnage in the game the super gets cancelled not like in this one.

in mvc ryu has shin shoryuken(sorry bout buthchering the word) in xmvsf both the arcade and this version he den't have it.

cyclops is missing his air optic blast super and the charge move of when he grabs his opponent.

this is all i can think of right now if i think of more i'll edit this post.

so, you mean to say...the basic rule still applies?
like the down+forward+punch?
or down+backward+kick?

nosoul4evr 04-03-2003 01:54 AM

Yes.
The thing that is missing in this version vs the arcade, is key commands that use the "diagonal key commands"...I/E: Up and Left at the same time..or Down and Right at the same time..etc etc etc.

Lets say the actual commands to preform a move in the arcade was:
Left, Left-Down diagonaly, Down, Right-Down diagonaly, Right...and an attack button.

In this online version is would translate to:
Left, Down, Right...and an attack button.

Other than that...and a few other minor differences..the key commands are the same.
