Is there no way to host a game if your connected to a router?
I need a fix. Please dont say read the FAQ because i read it so many times i could have a go at saying of by heart. So anythin? |
No, there's no way to host with a router. Due to the built-in firewall.

Unless if you have some good computer skills, you won't be able to host.. but heh... I suggest you try these steps:
1: go to "options" inside the game 2: click on the "network" tab 3: check "old connection mode for firewalls" 4: check "I am behind a firewall or proxy" 4: try typing in AUTO where it says Local IP It might not work.. but heh.. its worth a try atleast :biggrin: |

just because it didn't work for you, doesn't mean it won't work for the other person :biggrin:

routers save people money...would you want to buy 3 separate internet connections or buy one connection and buy a router and connect the 3 together |
