ok, you're in the air and someone does a shinkuu hadoken underneath you. You're falling and it's obvious you're going to end up in the path of the beam. Is there any way to block it?

I hold back/back+down and yet when i fall into the beam i get hit. Is there any way to stop this annoying problem?

Well In the real version, Ryu is supposed to be stuck in the air when he does the shinkuu hadouken, but in this version, he moves down while doing it, and just block it(there might be a glitch)

That hardly never works, you block for 2 seconds and the beam just starts to hit, just another known bug right?

Yeah, that's a known bug/glitch...

well we just have to deal with it for now, right?

It is possible to slow you're fall with all 3 characters:

Ryu:
Hadoken as much as possible, this slows you considerably.

Chun-Li:
Use the triple jumps (press jump again as you start descending) to get as high as possible, or try to air-flip to behind you're opponent & give them a kicking. If you already used the triple jumps, do a rapid kick in mid-air to slow yourself down.

Wolverine:
Drill-claw slows you slightly, & there is a tiny chance that you'll land behind you're enemy.

Well if i'm chun-li i try to triple jump as much as possible if i'm in that situation.
Althuogh the same thing happane to me when i'm ryu: i try to block but i still get blasted. i can only block it if i'm on the ground

DX Zero 05-12-2002 02:22 PM

u can also dash with chunli in the air....
