Maybe I am looking in the wrong places, or just am not sure where to look. but is there controller support for this game?

Thanks for any infor you may be able to provide. this game itself is a shocker!!

I have a PS2 USB adaptor by the way. it works perfectly for Mame and GBA emulators. Works for everything but this. I even have a PC controller and it doesnt work.

The problem is I cant assign any controller keys at the options/controller option screen. I read about that Mouse 2 Controller thing but am having a hard time stting that up properly. When i press up on the d-pad, it just moves the mouse arrow. I cant find a way to assign "up, down, left, right, attacks, etc" to the controller through that program. This is the greatest find ever for me as I am a Street Fighter lover! I just cant play w/out a controller. If anyone has had these problems and knows solutions, please let me know.

SFO isn't compatible YET with any controller. Maybe in the future, but not at the moment.

somone told me that only one type of controler works right now...the person didnt me details though

Oh I see, must be pretty hard to control. I don't know how you can do it without one. Ill give it my best though, controller support could make this hugely popular.

There is only one way to use a controler.

The only way is if you can assign keyboard keys to your controler, thats the only way. Like if you can go into your control's setup/config and change the buttons to "push" keyboard buttons. but the game was made with a keyboard in mind and is actually easier to play that way.

that is subjected to argument
some ppl find it easy using joyticks while others keyboard

@jinryu: i suggest you start practicing with keyboards

There is no argument. No one can find it easy to use joysticks when they aren't compatable. It was made for a keyboard. Thats why Ryu's firebal is just:
Down, Forward, P
And his Shoryuken is:
Forward, Down, Forward, P
None of the in between moves.

im talking about the entirety of the game itself when its originally introduced on arcades

those ppl got used on arcade playing street fighter find it odd when they play it on computer via keyboards
