Ok i was just wondering if making the characters have blood come out of them or have facial bruises when they are weak on energy is a good idea. I mean it seems pretty good to me although none of the street fighter games have the characters having blood coming out of them. What do you think?

Actually, in some Street Fighter games, if you jumpkicked someone in the face, you might get a little blood out of their mouth. It's not a splatter, but more like what would really happen if someone kicked you in the teeth. Ouch!

Personally, I always thought that the MK games were really cheesy with how they handled gore and such. I said A LITTLE, not geysers, might be a good effect. Having it in excess would only cause problems, be it technical or political, so let's be realistic about it, please...

ok lets handle this realiticly in the real world if someone keep kicking u do dragon uppercut u would bleed and have brusies but just dont make the bruses look like makeup or a purple line beacause taht is what they do inR2R and it looks like lulu valintine has makeup

There has always been a fine line between Street Fighter and Mortal Combat and i think the all the gore and blood is was really separates them---(not to mention that mortal combats story line sucks compared to street fight, not to mention the movies)--- little blood wouldn't hurt, lets just not go over board...

yeah it would probably spoil the game if there was blood like on mortal kombat but yuo also need to think about things like wolverines claws cause if he was real ad hit someone in the chest with his claws therd have to be holes and masive gashes in the enemy and i dont know what theyd do 4 the fireballs

Maybe Blood in the floor but it would be a bloody game Street Fighter will never be the same.

Well, I've always been a personal fan of MK for starters. But the blood kind of bothered me. I mean, don't we have e-nuf games with blood in them? Mortal Kombat, all 3 Tony Hawks, most boxing and wrestling games. And do you really want this crap all over you're comp screen:

And, even if the facial bruses, scars, etc. are added. Can we really see them? The characters are really small, and some characters have masks in at least some part of their face like:
Wolverine, Cyclops, Ryu(the headband), Gambit, Sabretooth, Spidie, (iceman it won't even show, PERIOD!), and other dudes. I wouldn't mind the blood, but if we didn't have it at all, I'd be a lot happier.
