Hi, is it possible for you to make it show the users game information when you go to join game? Simply because some people have worse connections than others, and by joining someones game it gives them a total advantage in fps, Im pretty sure this is what causes the people to see the chars teleport, so if you could show the fps info, people could chose their games more wisely, and everyone would be more happy.

your idea is good, but your argument isn't !

the FPS on the person's computer doesn't affect others. it only affects her !
example:
me(FPS=15) vs you(FPS=30)
the only thing that it will do is you seeing more frames than me. me will only have 15 frames cause my computers won't go beyond that ! you won't see your FPS get's down to my level cause your computer is better and will run always at his fastest FPS !

conlusion:
the FPS don't make the lag.
the PING here could be used, but it is already implemented in the game !

Karma, wouldnt this make sense though, if my fps is say 50, and yours is say 20, I am always going to be 30 fps ahead of you, therefore if you have error correction and things on, wouldnt it make me teleport on your screen?

because my FPS don't change whatever the opponent, i play it will always be like this ! My FPS is simply the number of image that is displayed on YOUR screen.

if you run it at 50FPS and i run it 20FPS the only thing that it will do, is you getting more frames than me. it won't affect my or your lag cause it isn't that who makes the lag.

sure the person will have less frames and see the opponent teleport, but that will be only because it will be HIS computer who do that. that means that his computer isn't strong enough for it to run this game.

And teleporting is a big problem, imo. You think you are going to score a hit and boom, really you miss.

but i ask if YOU had read my post carefully.

this means that it is the COMPUTER who is provoking the FPS drop. lets say your computer is a p4 2.0 ghz then you compare that to the REQUIREMENTS and that result in you being way higher then it, resulting in the HIGH FPS. in the other hand if i play with a , let say AMD 350. and i compare it to the REQUIREMENTS and i am about 150mhz under it then i probably get the worst FPS i can get.

even if you do know what the other FPS, it won't do a thing on me or you, it won't help you in either way. yes there will be teleportation but that will be only because your computer isn't able to fully run the game. it won't affect any one !

the thing that make you teleport like the way you say, is actually lag, and no, the FPS don't do a single thing about that !

answer is no. you won't be ahead of me ! why because that is exactly what FPS is. it means FRAMES PER SECONDS or IMAGES PER SECONDS.. you won't get ahead of me cause it is not what FPS means ! it doesn't make the game it is only a matter of seeing how SMOOTH a movement can be.

example:
ryu roundhouse kick at 30FPS = really smooth
ryu roundhouse kick at 15FPS = little choppy
both you won't be ending the move before me it is just a SMOOTHER way of doing it. both computer will follow each other !

just agree with Karma........I mean he is an expert in computer manners.........he had a 18 hour class(or sumthin like that) on computers programs and other things.......so I think he knows it better then U

lol computer manners? i agree with karma but not with ludacris. even though i've never taken any computer courses, i can still outsmart someone with a computer degree(my teacher, lol).

the fact that i know a lot about computers and gaming...
is due to the fact that i have been playing with computer since i was 7 year old ! i do have followed a class of 1800 hours, but it doesn't give me the right to yell at someone and make them think i know everything !

but about the FPS thing... now i know i am right about it !
