Does anyone actually mean to select Normal Speed ????

This is a serious question. As far as I can tell Normal speed only seems to make lag, really, really, really bad for players who have slowish computers anyway.

If it is in there for new-B's so they can learn the game better, well it doesn't help because one match against a good player and they'll get caned anyhow, normal or turbo. They can learn the game in practice mode (which is far better now - thanks TMyApp!)

I guess what I'm trying to say here is that I, for one, would like to see Normal Speed taken out of the game altogether. I can understand that this is meant to be a faithful conversion from the arcade, but really I think Normal Speed causes more problems than its worth.

The only time I ever play normal speed games is when it gets automatically selected, and I don't have the option to choose turbo, otherwise turbo speed is definitely the way to go!

Someone else please tell me what you think about this...

no it does not cause more lag

yes we do need NORMAL mode

er... if you're gonna reply at least back up your argument with some kind of info.

Just writing "yes we need normal mode, it does not cause lag" is pretty ordinary and does not tell me WHY we need it.

So why does the game need Normal Mode?

NO IT DOESNT CAUSE MORE LAG why? CUZ IT ONLY DECREASES THE FPS, during hyper moves it won't lag and frameskip as much for some people (if u kno wat i mean)

and it is NORMAL - N O R M A L mode. We need it cuz its NORMAL. Turbo mode wasn't even implimented in the game last year

last year...
game was running 60/60 FPS, at least it tryed to !
but people were like this:"i have way more lag then ever it is not fair !"
and then tmyapp said, it is not lag but your FPS who make you think it is lag.
and then tmyapp made the game go for a basis of 30/30 FPS to be more convenient.
but then the game was slower in any way. but people had
semi- less lag has there screen had much less problem dealing with graphics.

so tmyapp made that turbo mode for those who thought the game was way slower !
but actually, the game uses 30/30 psf in normal mode and 60/60 fps with turbo mode.
seems people don't know a thing about the difference between them !

conclusion: what DX is true, the game will not lag less or more whenever you choose turbo or normal as it is only the FPS who is affected !

if you don't know what FPS means then you clearly is talking like a real stupid person as you are asking something without even knowing !
i said "IF" you don't know what it is !
if you know about it then you should have known that fact from the biginning !

No this game should get rid of normal mode. It really does suck because of how slow it is. I have always hated using that slow ass mode.

maybe for you dx, but my computer already has enough problems. one which is a MAJOR problem is that the connection speed operates like a traffic light. and when the person picks normal, that makes everything worst. what tmy could do is fix the character choosing screen on quick games so we could have a chance to pick normal or turbo, cause it wont let us do that.

i dont know why yall want to make it go fast, if urs or the other persons computer lags, then it wont make it go faster, just more memory it will take for your computer = more lag..

it is not about MORE or LESS lag.
it all about "F P S "
if you don't what it means then you clearly not seeing the big picture here !

let me take it straight ok !
NORMAL = 30/30 FPS
TURBO = 60/60 FPS
conclusion:
TURBO = SMOOTHER, but SLOWER PROCESSING, meaning MORE CHOPPY ANIMATION because your comp tryes to follow !
NORMAL = LESS Processing, LESS CHOPPY animation, better time following action

conclusion:
for me NORMAL is BETTER.

it all depends on your charcater but it will never REDUCE LAG as it isn't even related to it !
try and think people, difference between FPS and LAG there is much more to FPS problem then we have with lag !

NORMAL and TURBO are the best thing that could happen !
