ok, according to the game, lots of people always do hadokens and hadokens like me :) why? because the tornado kick would get hit easily with stuffs, and I'm wondering if we could make the tornado kick spin through the hadokens so it would be easier to dodge the balls and players would also be more fond of using this move... also its pretty funny every time I jump kick and do tornado kick, the second time doesn't work ??? wierd, maybe its an exclusive move for you to get your hyper bar cheaply? maybe that should be changed :buttrock:

well in the real one u could do a dragon punch and the hadouken will passl right by.

TarkanX 06-07-2003 05:11 PM

That is one of the best ideas I've seen in a long time. Or maybe, the projectiles could lose priority, or the moves can gain priority, or maybe both? This will also include other characters like Cyclops, Spider Man, etc...

i actually knows what he means cause ive benn playin capcom vs snk 2 lately and i noticed the projectiles pass through the hurricane kick and if u time it right u can pass through a projectile with a shoryuken. but in this game i dont think it would happen. for one reason the hadokens are big. in cvs2 since ryu got so much hang time with his hurricane kick he can just hover over them. well ryu doenst have much hieght with his hurricane kick in this game.

Lightbringer 06-09-2003 01:17 AM

so who cares if the hadokens are big and the tornado kick with not much height... just like zangief spinning fist... just spin through the projectiles... and there are lots of much more benifets getting this move if you don't want anymore people whining about cheap sh/tting with hadokens all the time, and because the hadokens are big, it won't be easy to standard jump over them like the old classic street fighters, so tornado kick would be an easier way of dodging em, but I'm not meaning it to be invincible while doing that kick, maybe a little punch on the head would hit the guy or firing hadoken right on the top of the head(i said RIGHT ON THE HEAD NOT THE BODY)so people wouldn't be whining about cheap sh/tting in tornado kick too lol

G_GUNDAM 06-09-2003 01:24 AM

well my opinion is this, just keep the moves the way they are. of course there are gonna be people complaining. the only reason they complain is because of their lack of skillz. and if u cant get past a barrage of hadokens then u need to get some serious skill cause in my opinion u suck. so just keep the moves the way that they are. who gives a damn if people complain. if u dont like the way the game is then dont play it at all.

MagicX 06-09-2003 11:04 AM

that is a good idea. Also a "counter" function could be added so if two people both do hadouken the beams hit eachother and the one with higher level/hits cancels out the other beam and hits the enemy. This could make it more fair when people keep using beam attacks that are nearly unpassable such as optic blast and hadouken

lol kenshin... I'm pretty good at dodging hadokens, but still I get hit by them, but you don't care people complaining... I bet all ##### out there that can't master this game, is probably whining and whining, ok I'm changing this into optic blasts because lame cheapasses are optic blasting all the times(never mind) so I guess TMyApp and and other admins/mods please agree with me lol...

ggundam: you gotta admit that compared to the real game, endless hadokens are pretty damn hard to dodges !

i can bear the barrage, but only by block jumping... but i still get cheap damage, so in the nutshell, yeah i agree with him, we need a move that can pass thru hadokens ! but i guess all character should have that move !

example:
wolverine = dashing claw attack (which he already have)
chunli = spinning bird kick
ryu = tatsu maki sempuu kyaku
cyclops = cyclone kick
sentinel = dashing (don't know any moves that can be good for him to pass by)

and believe me... sentinel does need a big big big tweak about his lack of close range combats ! i can bear ryu user in close range, i get raped a lot before actually getting out of there. mainly due to the falling animation of sent. so he need somekind of push blocks ! that would be awesome !

anyway... back to projectiles... yeah we can super jump over them... but dashing or doing a move to pass them by is a good way to encourage close range fighters to have more skills.

because skills is better then anything else.
also, those moves will eventually get a usefullness like light said !

so i vote for it, tho its mainly what i've been saying in the dashing thread i made !

Lightbringer 06-10-2003 06:25 AM

I'd like to say that is... wolverines dash claw doesn't pass through projectiles only hand to hand moves... the slide claw passes through projectiles, but its goddamn slow and I don't think sentinel needs passing through projectiles, cause sentinels projectiles are cheap enough and fast... also if you heed the hp bar, if you block specials they hardly hurt, and also if sentinel get hurts by the super when sentinel drops down, he hurts a little and jumps up back(thats gay for a big body, maybe because of the density lol)
