Having a proxy sucks. It means I can never sucessfully challange and sync with another player. I can play just fine if someone else challanges, but that brings up a little problem...

I think that the game will really benefit from the addition of the Turbo mode, but there's one problem.

Who decides wiether or not to use Turbo mode? If it was the challanger, then I'm out of luck, since I can't challange! And there are plenty more with that same problem. So, I was thinking about this, and I came up with an idea:

If a player challanges you and wants to use a port that differs from your own, then you can choose the "Use My Port" option, so that you can play on your port. Well, why not put up a Match Option menu up there instead? Once there, you can choose the Use My Port option, and you can negotiate over Turbo Mode as well as any other additions that the game might recieve in the future, like game modes or such.

Well? What does everyone think?

well.. the "match mode" will be hear once the 4player mode is implemented....

till then, Player2 (the one who is challenged) will be able to choose if he wants to play with turbo on or off...

.. we are only a few days away from seeing this feature in the game :biggrin:
