Okay listen up to this people. I got my new computer ( i built it) with the top of the notch parts. intel pentimum 4 3.4 ghz processor, dfi mobo with 800 mhz fsb, 250 gb hardrive, 1024mb of ram and so im expecting my game in sfo to be awesome. But to my suprise i am still getting owned by lag.... Yes even in both backup and dor servers. What is going on here. I turn off the music, turn of the background and i do not have auto adjust. So what is up with this. Now im beginning to think that the other guy is lagging but i dont know. I really want to know what is going on because im losing games left and right because i do a super and the guy ends up behind me doing a super.
Unfortunately my mobo got something wrong with it so i have to replace. so for the time being im using my brothers computer. its not as good but i still had the problem with my new one. So if anyone can help with this i would really appreciate it.

naa. If you really want to own at SFO. Get a 56K Connection and a Computer of about 600-700 Mhz and an amount of 100 MB ram or lower. Thats the best type of system you can have to play sfo on. A FPS of 26-30 is the best FPS to play sfo on.

Although your computer is pretty fast, it doesn't solve the fact that NOT everyone has a good computer to play with. No matter how fast you are, you opponent(s) will have to try and keep up, they will have lag, which will probably be sent back to you.

Like the saying goes, "lag will always be around....uinless you get a celebrity endorsement to almost wipe it out" :biggrin:

lol i understand what u mean... So throw my computer down the stairs into the sewer and retrieve...plug it in and i will own... :D yeayuh...thanks for clearing that up...however one update of sfo should a total bug sweep...that would be nice

Your computer owns... but your opponents computer and the internet do not...thats your games problem, good ol' fashioned lag.
