well, its all about making a calendar like the BDAY one, but everyone could add to it.
it would be a place where we could put tourneys in.
you all know how much problems starting a tournament is those days !
there is like 4 tournaments a week ! meaning the WT doesn't even have a purpose anymore !

this callendar would be showing from which date to which date the tournament is held !

example, i am making a tourney, i want to have lots of poeple but there is already 4 other tourney going on...
i see it in the callendar, then i choose a week-end where there is none ! meaning i will get more people to join in, as there will be nothing in that day !

is this possible ?
and what do you think ?

i dont have time to do this... but if someone ELSE wants to make a GOOD looking calendar, i'll be happy to link the official page to it :biggrin:

it's wierd how all the sudden right when tmy is really busy is when we are coming up with the great ideas.

i say next year, have a friend monitor the game on august[sum1 smart] and take a one month vacation somewhere. :biggrin:

Yeah some of those tournies are pretty dumb.

Maybe u should put some kind of rule to tourney making.

Like if u want to make a tourney u have to have certain requirements to it so it can work. Some people just make a topic and say "Best Tournament" when u look in the topic there is No rules, No web page, No meaning, No nothing.

You should have requirements that will allow that person to make his/her tourney in this forum. that way the dumb tournaments will be taken out and only people that put thought into making there tourney work will be going on.

I say this because it really takes less time to just weed out all bad tournaments with out the need on making a big calender.

guess your right, but still, lots of good tourneys happenned at the same time and 1 out of 2 got disrupt cause of that, so the calendar isa good idea too...

but i would say this...
mix both idea's.
- requirements to make tourneys
- do a callendar

that way, we are sure to have good tourneys at the right time and the right place and no tourneys will get disrupt cause of 2 tourneys at the same time !

Seems like a great idea to have both.

That way we wont have as many tournaments and people can be updated on each tournament. When it will happens and also have like like a link to the thread of the Tourney on each date of the of the calender. That way people can also Sign up and keep updated.

I think that calender idea will be a really good adition.

Stupid like my tourney... I was sick the god damn day of it.

Is there a point of doing this? Most of these tourneys are crap on fly paper. Horribly organized, and they don't get the job done. I'm not comparing this to ToC1, though most likely no tournament will ever be like ToC1, but there is no point in putting calendars for crap tournaments(which is all the tourneys in the challenge and tournaments section).

The WT's are really good, much better than any tourney out there right now, I just hate the way how present tourneys are set up.

You know... we do have one of those at It's right here.

However, do note that all of the present tournaments are semi-decent/decent tournaments... there's no way I can keep up with a thousand and 1 #### tournaments that get started/disbanded every week.
