I like Ryu, since he's my fav. street fighter character, and I can recall my first character chosen, but Akuma is stronger.

I like Ryu as well, I always chose him over Ken, and Akuma just doesn't have a personality, or something, and is just stronger cuz he was a boss type.

My first character was Dahlsim, I remember, watching this kid play once, and I saw him, I thought he was so cool how he could stretch out and breathe fire :) I found &#36.25 once, and found a machine and played, I died the second match ;)

I know it's not one of the choices, but I would rather have Ken. I also wouldn't mind seeing Dan once in a while.

Akuma, duh.

I wonder If Capcom would consider killing off Akuma...

Well y have to take Akuma well some of u like's Ryu but not Ken and some say that is not strong But wen y play Street Fighter 1 y only take Ryu his was stronger powerful attack' evrything.

How could Capcom kill off Akuma. Their third most popualr character. Only Ryu and Ken can compare.

Now then, we needn't be using the dreaded angry face. Yes, I like Dan. This is because he is weak and is a challenge to play as, he is NOT in any way to be played as a shoto, doing so will get you killed. Also, if I beat someone with Dan, I can totally stick it to him, and humilliate him for the rest of his Street Fighter playing life. Sorry to say this, but I just can't find enough respect for people beating up newbies with Akuma, it's just not that impressive anymore. Akuma is strong, that I'll admit, but he is always expected to win. If you want to experience what a fighting game is all about, ditch your power trips with Akuma and try some of the other characters, you owe it to Capcom after they spent the time to put them there. Heaven forbid you might actually like some of them. But i suppose you'd rather have something like: "Akuma vs. Evil Ryu: Match of the Bicentenium"

Equal match: Akuma vs. Evil Ryu. Unfair match: Shin Akuma vs. Evil Akuma. Akuma is the best, even better as Shin Akuma.

I prefer Ryu, I have played a bunch of Street Fighter Alpha 3 with a friend, and he ALWAYS took Akuma, so I have developed a healthy dislike for the rageing deamon, before I became good at jumping the #### away. As far as Dan goes, how can you not like him, he's weak, and his Goduken is lousy. Anyone who can win against a deacent player deserves to be the true King of Casino

Okay I am F'n tired of this. Don't you people watch Street Fighter Movies and see the endings of Ryu and Akuma. I have seen twice that Akuma beats Ryu and lets him leave so he can one day tap his true power.
