Well the only projectiles it can go through are rocket punch and optic blast. but yeah I think it would be a good idea wolver

gouki2008 08-24-2004 04:24 AM

maybe more damage protection?

Depends on how you look at it. The move is pretty fast.. so I don't know if it racks up enough ordercity like the Shinpuu Jinrai kyaku to take it through projectiles.

but just take it this way. It does/performs it's function as good as it should

but the Shinpuu Jinrai kyaku always goes through any projectile, its so fast that it seems as if ken teleports. Berserker slash is pretty useless against a ryu user.

Yes I think it shud go through projectiles, cuz i think its about time wolver

That's my point exactly. To do the shinpuu jinrai kyaku, you have to utilize one super bar.. but you can do the berseker slash as many times as you want.

Thus the berserker slash doesn't have as much "ordercity" as the shinpuu jinrai kyaku... why?? Cause the latter is a super move and the former is just a special move.. down back + P

However, it would put wolver

Angel-Eyes 08-24-2004 09:13 AM

[quote:post_uid0="blanka09"]However, if a super move *cough* is implemented that would take him right through the projectiles...
heh.......

btw ken's high punch uppercut goes through projectiles......yet it does not require any energy from the level bar......so.......

Kester: Ken is a shotokaner.. and he's fighting abilities make him able to do so.. and remember that his hadouken isn't that e fective.. so there has to be an alternative means for him to counter Ryu's projectiles. That's why it's the way it is

~Mastermax~ 08-24-2004 01:36 PM

well don't forget that with slide claw u are impervious to all attacks except for supers, and he moves pretty fast, and it trips your oppenent, i'm pretty sure that evens up the fireld...

shadowdog2244 08-25-2004 06:27 AM

Hmm... I hope I am not saying something stupid, but, have we forgotten something about wolvie?
His downward claw, you know the one where he slides on the floor under "any" (except when there is a glitch and the projectile slides across the ground) projectile. What about that? It would be some-what (I love using that word) unfair for him to be able to use 2 moves to go through nay attack, you would be so defensless! He is too fast for having two.

Angel-Eyes 08-26-2004 08:59 PM

he needs 2.......

shadowdog2244 08-27-2004 06:53 PM

but why? Your first post doesn't really say why.

Vash 08-27-2004 06:55 PM

That move might create alot of lag.

Angel-Eyes 08-27-2004 06:56 PM

well its sortof obvious........wolver

pip99 08-27-2004 07:02 PM

I think this is a great idea..

Angel-Eyes 08-27-2004 07:10 PM

[quote:post_uid0="Vash"]That move might create alot of lag.
what the hell?!?! you're a halfwit

he already has that move, I just want it to go through projectiles

.....next time you post, dont try to be smart by saying "oh thats laggy" "thats gonna make lag"

you probably dont even know what lag is

shadowdog2244 08-27-2004 07:19 PM

I would also think it was a great idea if it didn't make Wolvie too powerful. Making a good character "too good" would be a bad thing right?
Also, I still don't get it. You didn't really explain why he needs two. You just said an "opinio nof sorts" then said he needs two. He dodges then is almost unstopable. He can also heal himself. Wasn't there a topic like this a while back and Wolvie was changed? Can you tell me why doing this wouldn't make him too powerful/ unstoppable/ unvunerable to common users and even "more" to Wolvie users?
Oh, and it actually may cause lag. Let me explain... as if I actually know what I am talking about... heh. Although this move has already been created think about it... Berserker Dash is so fast already and causes lag/confusion (sometimes) even to the user, but you and others, of course, want this to nullify a projectile. Not only will this make wolvie invincible on your own screen creating invincibility on the opponents scree neven if they think they hit you, Wolvie would be unstopabble in any way, because you aren't getting behind a character so fast already when he keeps doing the same move that will cancel/stop your own moves. Although Vash's post can be a little o f sometimes (I apologize, but they can be) he is right about this one.
So please, explain.
