I can think of 2 possible features the chat-room could have to improve things.
1. Add the /seen command. Similar to alot of telnet talkers, the /seen command could be used to work out when an opponent was last online, and it would definitely help in trying to track down that elusive person you're trying to find for a clan battle or tournament fight. e.g if I want to know where xfaderx was last on, I would type : /seen xfaderx Then the bot or system or whatever would display (on my screen only) xfaderx last seen on Tuesday May 3rd at 07:35 GMT. I would definitely find this feature useful. 2. The other feature I wanted to mention was the use of actions - e.g /me bops xfaderx on the head . This would display HairyArse bops xfaderx on the head. I realise this a useless feature but more of an extra addition that is probably not necessary but I just thought I'd throw it in for fun. I like it. Here's a suggestion for a feature. If we could have "Private Conversations" with certain members. Like on other chat rooms. You can have personal convos with 1 person. I know multiple convos would be kool. But i know that would take alot of work. So, i would just go with private convos with 2 ppl.

Ya I agree with Paladin but the first one that HairyArse isnt a great idea..because it wouldn't be the private...People should have there own privacy Not knowing people are stalking them down or wanting to check when they are on..

i agree with hairyarse though. the chat room is pretty dull. no body will want to come to fight somewhere not welcoming. change colors an change it around a little. like aol chatrooms a little. the sfo chatrooms are too old school

to talk about what exactly....o_0[/quote] Just think about it. If you want to have a private convo with someone without other peole's disturbance (i.e. msn, yahoo, and so on). Then that would make a good reason for that feature. |
you can block people on MSN Yahoo Aim etc...
This Private Convo idea would lead to little kids cybering with each other... that's not cool. |

People constantly try too tell TMyApp how to fix his game without knowing how much work it actually takes to do certain things...And althought you might think this is a good suggestion...Id have to disagree because this game was not created for the chat as I believe some mods/admins have said before the chat is for people to be able to start fights and nothing more..The way people act in the chat you think they deserve to have it look better? I would have to say(not knowing this for sure) but changing the chat around is the last thing on TMyApp's mind..

It would be cool if the chat had a nice background other than the plain background it has now. Maybe a little music would spice up the look of the chat room. To my oppinion it would be pretty nic eif these ideas got implemented into the game. But we will just have to see what happens in the future.
