I just thought that we need to know how many people are irritated with cyclopses optic blast and have had it. It would be much better if it got delayed in between every blast or something because that would make the fight fair. And a lot of ##### think that they have skill because of it. Dudes, learn some real skill.

The Optic Blast is Cyclops only strategy to win, so in essence, they are using skill.

Leave his blast alone its fine ! THATS how fast it is in arcades and in home consoles jeez stop complaining

I am a Cyclops User myself, and I Use him well (not cheap) Stop complainin about them they just need 2 learn how 2 play well and not pathetic

leave it that way i played capcom vs. marvel its the same optic blast so dont change it before everyone fight you :alien:

the optic blast has already been tweaked loads to make it fair, any more and there would never have been any point in creating cyclops in the first place.

and tarkan will you stop with all this bs saying that cyclops only has optic blasts, i've beaten plenty of people with only using that a few times in the match and by mainly using his other atacks instead.

heh cyclops is the cheapest character in the game :alien:

cy is not the cheapest char there all the same in 1 way
ryu:hadouken
wolve:drill claw
cy: optic blast
sent: sent froce rocket punch and sent beam
spiderman: spidey kick in the air
chun :lighting kick and tha little fireball of hers

so every char can b cheap not just only cyclops
all sum ppl need 2 kno is how 2 use tha char

Everyone is cheap. Everyone has an attack that can be anused. Delaying the optic blast anymore ruins cyclops.

actually tj theres a delay after they do the move... ;)

im with delay all the way...including every other char..

i think most bad character is chunli and shes cheap

but y put a longer delay on it??? you might as well just take away the optic blasts all together which ould accomplish nothing and would completely eleminate the point of having cyclops in this game, you all should just be thankfull for the fact that tmy made the character instead of constantly bitching about it

* CYCLOPS CAME OUT *
PROB : optic blast were coming out so fast that you even could have blasted twice in a second !
SOL : tmyapp reduced the speed of the optic blasts

PROB : it still was too fast
SOL : TMYAPP reduced it again... now optic blast takes about 2 seconds before able to fire another.

PROB : OPTIC SWEEP hitting you reguardless of your position on the screen.
SOL : TMYAPP changed the COLISION DETECTION of the optic sweep.

PROB : OPTIC SWEEP still hit you when you jump, but not as much as it used to be.
SOL : TMYAPP changed the colision detection again... that's were we are at for that prob... it still hits you , but a lot less high then it use to !

PROB : optic blast are abused by users...
SOL : no solution can be aplyed here... if OPTIC BLAST are delayed even more, then there would be no need for them anymore and cyclops will lose the only attacks of interest he has !

EXAMPLE:
get rid of WOLVERINE's HEALING FACTOR... you get rid of wolverine itself. because for those who don't know ####, wolverine is not just about CLAWS... without his healing factor he is nothing.

same applies to all chars !

RYU W/O HADOKENS = not ryu
ERYU W/O RAGING DEMON = not eryu
SPIDEY W/O any WEB SHOOTING = not spidey

see were i go like that...
so before asking for things like you ask, start by asking yourself if it reallly would help the char before !

chars have to stay themselves, even if you modify them !
i agree that the optic blasts are abused, but guys/ have you ever notice how you can JUMP FORWARD while blocking ?

i use that method, forwards and backwards.
it works like a charm dudes !
so i say, unless you don't know how to block in this game, then you got a clear problem with the chars themselves !

cheapness is not a default, its a way of play.
just like hand to hand is a way of play.
you just gotta deal with it !

man i remmeber one time i played dis rank 1 guy guess who he used cyclops!!!!
all he did was optic blast optic blast gawd so annoying.
o well i say leave it + i dont think tmy would have the time n all with akuma come out n stuff give the guy a break ;)

Mage mani know what ya mean about the skill ppl who choose cyc learn his moves and use him like that its an insult to cyclops and an insult to the the person there playing now you said slow him down but i do'nt think so i think if the person who is using him and is playing like that should use the true power of cyclops and get some skill

Yea, your right about those people needing to get skill. But at least not everybody that playes with him is cheap, Like you, bezerkerslash, your one of a handful of people that have MASTERED THE ART OF NON-CHEAPNESS. Mabey some other people should learn it too if they ever want to believe that their actually good at this game.
