i dont know about u guys but im am abosolutely sick an tired of new ppl talkin poop like U LAG U CHEAT etc.. i think we shud introduce a new members button which tells u about the game i.e how it works etc... this way there would be less annoyed ppl like an this could help new ppl settle in quicker. dont make it an option make it compulsory the new members section in the forum is not good enough. hardly neof them know it exists.

True. When "new comers" see what the "more experienced players" say and do,m they will try and "copy" them, saying "oh! i owned this guy" when they were only 2 hits from losing, WHICH ISN'T THE DEFINITION OF OWNING. The next thing, they use LAG as the excuse for EVERYTHING. That really pisses me off. But hey, what are we gonna do about that? We can try and explain it to them. Though some people are just TOO "dumb to notice" or just too much of a sore loser to admit it. So, they come up with every possible excuse they can think of.
We should make like an "introductory program" to teach the "new comers" the in's and out's of the game. As well, we SHOULD promote/upgrade things, like the SFO dictionary (yes, I knwo about it/seen it). So, soME of the things/terms CAN explain to them how/why it happens, and under what situations it is at it's best/worsed. So yes, i agree. |
Fact is... even if we did that, most of the "kids" usually don't read at all and just skip thru until they can play !
you should have known that cause i'm sure you too have done that when you first joined ! so you'll have to deal with it ! cause we can't do poop about it, its all in the faq and all int he forum if they can't read either then i don't think they would actually read a third document ! its all a matter of opinion thou, when i meet a kid like that i just ignore him and ask him for a rematch like i always do and proove him that if he can't play the game as it is then he could simply leave ! its as simple as that ! |

Indeed it happens alot too me as well but fk it it always comes around , the ####ies actions are habitual so we cant help that but show them a damn thing in that section.

I strongly agree with you all, but most of all Karma because when i first started playing i just logged in as a player and didnt even bother to read the prompt in the beginning of SFO. I just wanted to play......so w/ that being said, i strongly believe that any newcomer will undoubtedly skip thru anything that will be put up for help and reference. and nck2....it says it all just right under your name and your double posting...... :D but me....i take my time to help out the new kids whenever they ask and are polite about it. i try to help whenever i can cuz i know how it feels to be new and stupid :p , hey....we were all new at 1 point!! :;):

Still, i feel that, for the forum, we should have a auto- welcome message with a link to the rules man. Cuz some new people like to double post *cough*nck2*cough*. So that when they break a rule, they can't say, "i didn't see the rules" since the message automatically comes up when an account is made.

You see the most ironic thing in this forum is we got a bunch of "####s" calling other ####s ####s..in other words we got new comers talking smack about ppl who started a week after they did. Sad to say...i do read some the "terms" you have to agree to before joining things.. :down: Need to make sure i'm not selling my soul away. :D I didn't notice the "No bitching part". i tend to play sfo on and off sometimes ip lay 4 a month or 2 evan longer then illtkae aloong break then i come back try 2 play agame with some1 ####iws in the thousands say i suck and wont play me >.> people with ranks like ne were from 1-500 think thre bad and theyll boot from there games so hey i mean ####iws have to listen to other peoples crap 2 mabey if we all just a little nicer to them and showd them the ropes didnt bootthem from gameso r turn there challnge then make funa there rank they wouldnt tlak so much trash:D im always up 2 tryin to help people new to the game and no one like bieng callned n00b ####iw or #### how ever u type it it pisses them off just be nice and i bet they would tlak trash just my opnion =/
